Table Rock Tournament LodgingFolks,
Dave and Ronell asked me to post this reference the TR 2 day tournament in May. I called Schooner Creek Resort and reserved 2 cabins (19 and 20) for Friday and Sat night. Each cabin will sleep 6 foks. #19 has one bath and #20 has 2 baths. Each has a kitchen. The cost is $97 a night for 19 and $104 a night for 20. We got them at the off season rates. The cost quoated is for 4 folks. Each additional person is $8 per night. So if we fill one cabin with 6 guys it's $19 plus tax per person per night for 19 and $20 per person per night in 20. If you want to go down early and spend Wed or Thursday night he'll work out something with us.
Basically I took these cabins because that's about all that's left. Since TR was so good last year there are lot of tournaments scheduled down there this year and just about every thing is already rented. If you want to go and take your wife, etc. I suggest you call down there now and reserve a place so you can be sure to have it in May. May is the big fish, sight fishing month down there so a lot of folks are coming. Leon has 2 more cabins at Schooner Creek but the boat parking is bad so I didn't ask for them. He still has a few scattered rooms so if you want one call NOW! If you are interested we can discuss this at our pre-season meeting in Jan or Feb. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL! P.S. Good to hear from you. Hope the new year is going well so far. Ha! You are the 1st man in cabin #20. #19 is full. Don't worry about the money till we show up to fish in May. I'll talk to you at the meeting this month about it.
